observational poem of a love sleeping and associative thoughts
Sleeping.
Your face betrays lovely dreams
Where another loves your body this night,
Whilst awake, I watch the sky fall in streams:
An endless sea of fear rises insight
Of you within, those quiet wishes hidden
Besides the rare word not meant to be spoken;
The memory of self is drowned there,
In the image of a sorrowful man sea.

The envy of unknown feeling lies here
In this bed, somewhere between you and me;
Whispered love unsung in lonely streets
Whence the homeless souls we are dance careful beats
Played
By antiques of our each,
Those colored histories forgotten and free,
Someday less of tomorrow never in reach;
Remembered instead. Hopefully, we bury
Ourselves wanting the mystery of love
Only to become strangers passed with a shove.
