A poem I wrote about coping with death
Realign, my stars tonight.
Blind my view, focus my sight.
Drop your defense and embrace delight.
Prevent this angel's forbidden flight.

Your time has come,
The decisions done.
You gave nothing but
Mistakes to learn from.

Abandon me once,
I can never forget.
My back has turned,
I leave no regrets.

Ration your thoughts.
Spare the despare.
Accept this invitation.
Sign says beware.

Stitch and mend,
But don't pretend
To offer hope,
For a bitter end.

Watch me close,
I'll be coming soon.
Warn the masses,
Steady the tune.

A cut or two,
Bleed out the pain.
Now fear this blade
That once kept you sane.

Taste these tears I cry,
Waste your dreams inside,
see through bloodshot eyes,
and never sleep.
We'll keep all roads open
For the marching of the sheep.
