Poem of Sadness and lonlines
Invasion

If it were only possible to turn my sadness
Into wonderful happiness
I ,my friend, would be the happiest of them all
But alas the sadness consumes my soul
It fills every pore of my body
Every strand of my hair
It creeps in every crevasse of my mind
It suffocates the fires of my soul
Dulls the intensity of my eyes
My whole existence is being consumed
Not from the all devouring inferno from within
But from the everlasting sadness that infests my being
It numbs my very heart
To feel no more is its ultimate objective
To love no longer
To shed tears of loneliness forever more
To BE alone
It seems to me that my fate is this
For I alone can not stop the onslaught that sadness has released
With no one by my side what chance have I got
Embrace it should I
Or fight it I could the sadness within
With a blind faith and a false hope
That some one will come
To fight by my side
To drive back the sadness
And let happiness reside
What a wonderful dream that do be
But a dream it is
And nothing more for me
