assignment
The bar was just starting to get busy. When James noticed her as he came in. “ A beer please, Tom,” said James. From where he was standing all he could see that she was wearing a white, or an off white sweater with a v-neck. Her reddish brown hair was shinning, with the light above picked up the highlights. He could see she was sipping white wine and haven’t drunk very much. He decided not to send her over another one. There was some quarters by her glass she was playing poker on a computer on the bar.
James sat in his chair trying not to stare at her; he didn’t want to seem rude. She looked up and for a second he left like maybe she looked right at him. James smiled at her hoping she would smile back, she did. James finished his beer.
“Another beer please,” said James.
He wanted to meet her; he stood up started walking across the floor towards her. She glanced up and saw him walking towards her she smiled.
“Hello, I’m James, winning much.” He watched her choose her next play.
“Just a little to keep playing and thanks for asking.” She smiled at him.
At first she seemed shy, with in a few minutes their conversation was deeply taking off finding out they had a lot in common.
By the end of the evening when it was time to leave.
“May I walk you to your car” James asked. When they got to her car.
“Hi, my name is Maria,” she said with a smile. Even though she wouldn’t give her phone number he wanted to see her again.
“Would you please meet me here again tomorrow night?” He asked.
“Sure I would love to,” Maria said with a smile.
They meet they the next night.
