traditional style,compassion my lesson!
I thought the heart spoke the language of the poets
and so I did practice my stanzas and lines
though words have told volumes of beauty and love
I always felt something was left behind

and so I thought the heart spoke the language of music
more open than words of exact definition
and through song I found a new piece to the puzzle
but also more questions and open positions

I thought then the heart spoke the language of artists
abstract enough to encompass perfection
while art has revelaed many secrets of this life
life saw my mistakes and I saw it's correction

the heart can speak all of these languages and more
but none alone can define the heart's communication
speak without words see without eyes hear without ears
and your heart will speak to you with no hesitation

for every attempt to define it's expression is flawed
for definitions explains things as they stand apart
look inward to find your compassion and oneness
and then you can know the language of the heart
