A poem about feeling lonely


Lost

Lost, gone from the present,
empty and inexistent.
Completely crushed in mind
and spirit.

I know these feelings,
I've had them before.

They are calm feelings,
almost unreal,
like i'm outside looking in.

I'm going back into my shell,
into my own little world,
the world of not caring.

I'm not alive,
just breathing.
