Long lasting friendship
then feelings get involved,
Together it seems like forever
but still love goes unsolved.

The powers of love are almost
non-tolerable,
Me do it all again ?
that's not allowable.

Maybe I'll let love walk on by
and hopefully I won't miss it,
Because love most definitely
can unknowingly be mean and wicked.

Now I bring myself to your bed
but I'll leave my feelings at home,
You can own my body,
but please leave my heart alone.

Everything that you've given me
you want them back with all their richness,
But those things are non-returnable
unless you snatch away my spiritual existence.

Whenever we'd talk I'd feel you
and your personality would heal me,
But now to ask for everything back
what are you trying to kill me ?

Why did you involve me in your life
when you could have left me to roam,
Take anything you want but please,
Leave My Heart Alone.
