A fairly simple poem about Beauty written as an English class assignment.
Beautiful is a first kiss of love,
An intangible feeling and emotion.
Beautiful are the supple hills of nature,
Emerald green and dusted with sun.
Beautiful is the first drop of rain,
Bringer of life glistening with light.
Beautiful are the creatures of the Earth,
All that walks, moves, or crawls.
Beautiful is a soft blanket of snow,
Purest of whites and simplest of forms.
Beautiful are the snow-capped mountains,
Slumbering earth, ever-immortal giants.

Beautiful is life, the universe, and everything.

From the smallest of creatures,
To the largest of planets,
The raw essence of life,
The basic instincts of existence,
Created or begun, false or true,
All are innately beautiful.

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, they say,
But beauty is everywhere; Nature’s true way.
