When "Christians" forget where they came from.
Who Are You to Judge?

Who do you think you are
to try to keep me from heaven's gates?
You pass your judgement upon me
as if you've never made mistakes.

You turn away hungry souls
seeking guidance from above.
Your heart has grown cold
and you speak lies of my Father's love.

All have fallen short,
there are none without sin;
yet you place yourself on a pedestal,
forgetting where you've been.

Once a beloved disciple
who had been redeemed from a sinful life,
you used to speak of God's mercy,
now you shame the gospel of Christ.

You use requests for prayer
as a way to spread gossip and lies.
Do you honestly think what you're doing
will be hidden from God's eyes?

He sees above the heavens
and the deepest parts of the earth.
He knows the intentions of our hearts
and what our souls are worth.

His Son's innocent blood was shed
to bear the punishment for all sin.
Why do you try to stand in His place
and judge the souls of men?

Search deep within your heart;
be no longer deceived by your pride.
Rekindle the flame of your first love
and in it . . . forever abide.
