Chap.9-Elynn the healer

I stand there too stunned to move. The fiends don't heasitate to attack but something strange happens. It looks like one of the fiends has gotten shocked! I look over and see a girl with short, chin-length blond hair, dark green eyes, and some sort of tattoo looking thing around her neck ready to attack the fiends.

"You can't just wander around here like this! It's dangerous out here!" she says with a irritated look on her face. Then she sways another fiends attack. "Alright! I don't have time to deal with this! Wrath of the Gods!" she says, and a huge beam of flashing light shots out of nowhere and kills the fiends instantly.

Okay...odd day much? "Uh, thanks..." I say still in shock.

"Your welcome. But what are a couple of people like you who can't defend yourselves doing out here?" she ask me suspiciously.

"Actually, we can, but my partner got poisoned...-"

"You should carry antidotes." she interrupts and says it in a know-it-all way.

Alright, this girl has a little too much attitude for me.

"My name's Elynn, what about you?" she ask me, "and your partners?" she asks.

"I'm Fiona and he's Arick." I say.

The girl walks over to Arick, then she does another spell and it looks like Arick's waking up.

"...what just happened?" he asks a little dazed-like.

"I just saved miss defenseless from being wolf food." says Elynn rolling her eyes.

Does she know who she's talking about?

Arick hops up quickly. "We need to hurry and get out of these woods." he says starting to walk on. I follow.

"Wait. Your going in the direction of Rojan. I was going there too. That's where I live after all." says Elynn.

Arick nods.

"Then let me come with you. You obviously need my healing skills, and powerful white magic." she says looking at me.

I don't like her attitude...but we can always use the old use once and discard routine. "Well since we're headed in the same direction, I guess it wouldn't hurt." I say.

Elynn smiles. "I knew you needed me." she says walking up with us.
