lost victems of progress...
I'll weep for you, sorrow against the backdrop of a tainted and marred sky
Phantoms of lost souls trying to find their way in this perversion of their former home
Cursed to anomie and despair in the cold grip of human greed

I'll sing a song for you, this bitter elegy for tarnished beauty
What was once theirs, now a mass of concrete abomination towering in the sky
You'll be sorely missed but me, even as your plight goes on ignored

I'll fight for you, with every last dying breath
Makes no difference if you get the cold shoulder from the rest of the world
These sins will not go unpunished; of these you can be assured.
