I have been mainling coffee today and felt inspired to write a poem about my coffee.
An Ode To My Coffee


Your bittersweet taste haunts my dreams,
I want you more and more each day,
The world always looks better than it seems,
When your sweet aroma comes my way.

Your silky dark brown colour,
Turning tan as the milk is added,
My cup soothes my demeanour,
One sip and I feel more clearheaded.
