About a girl who kills herself and promises to always be with her friend in spirit.
Sitting in the corners of your eyes,
Staring at the ground.
Tracing faces in the stars,
Trying to figure out why I’m not around.
I didn’t mean to leave you, honey,
Please don’t cry anymore.
And what I did wasn’t about you, honestly,
I don’t really know what I did it for.

I do regret it, don’t get me wrong.
But you can’t undo it, don’t sit around too long.
Staring, wishing, ignoring the world,
Baby, believe me, it wont do any good.
Get up and get out, start smiling again.
Go do it for me, do what you should.
I’ll always be right here, in the shadows of your face.
I’ll be here, right here, when you feel out of place.

Don’t cry over me, I’m happy enough.
And sweetie I’m sorry for putting you through this stuff.
And I’m gone but I’ll stay here,
Watching over you in the dark.
I’ll be your lucky days,
Your light when you cant find a spark.
I’ll be there on your rainy days,
To push some stressful clouds away.
I’ll hold your hand when you’re upset,
And I’ll follow you, come what may.

Don’t question yourself, you did your best.
But I decided for myself I needed this permanent rest.
So watch for me when the moon beams,
And I’ll forever be etched in the hinges of your dreams.
