Wandering feet and a free spirit as wild as the wind
Always an opened doorway is the heart
Messages sent and received go unseen
Oftentimes used as a pawn

Wonder why blindfolds cover eyes that will reveal all
A free spirit searching for answers
A heart seeking true and unconditional love
Undying fantasies remain just that

A soul looking for one that is kindred
A heart whose beat remains unheard
Pain mirrored in eyes no one sees
Always used as a pawn

Absolution but a word easily extended
Action, not words, so desperately wanted
The doorway to the heart forever open
Hope and faith the paths that guide and inspire
