Lilibonelle Original prompt: Special Setting
Inside my father's house, I knew love.
There was room in his heart.
Not of his blood, but it didn't matter.
A hole inside, when he was gone.

There was room in his heart.
I was warmed with his smile.
I felt like I had been wanted;
that I would always be loved.

Not of his blood, but it didn't matter.
He loved me the way a father loves a daughter.
I could see all the love in his eyes.
I knew he would always love me.

A hole inside, when he was gone.
The best pieces of my life were missing.
Things were never the same again. .
Inside my father's house.
