With This Rose In My Hand

I came through the door
with this rose in my hand
I walked down the hall
with this rose in my hand
I called and I called
with this rose in my hand
but your were not there to see
this rose in my hand
to the den, the living room
with this rose in my hand
the bath and bedroom
with this rose in my hand
now here on the front steps i sit
with this rose in my hand
the tears in my eyes
this rose in my hand
for im to blame
thats why i have this rose in my hand
