I wrote this poem about four months after I wrote And I Thought You Were The One.
Dedicated to my ex, Stephanie Martin.

There are days and nights when I feel like a
fool.
Just from the thoughts of losing you.
The feelings we had were so true.
But it was my own immaturity that caused my
heart to be blue.
I would hold you so close, as though you were
a part of me.
The love you gave me made my heart breathe.
When we kissed it was like nothing I had ever
felt before.
And there was me longing, hoping, and begging
for more.
I didn't lie or cheat, every word I said was
true.
And I want you to know: That I still have
thoughts of loving you.
