A dream i had whilst sleeping.
Driving fast toward the top of a hill
The car flips over and around
Thousands of feet I fall to my death
I land on the ground soft and still.

Im in no pain as I cry on the floor
The water rushes by me
Will any notice that ive gone?
What happened to my car?

What can I do to make this work?
My legs wont help me
People watch as I begin to crawl
The water pulls me under.

Lightning burns the back of my eyes
The liquid tastes like dirt
I vomit beneath the waves
Screaming until I bleed.

Im in a different land
I think ive been here before
The old man down the street
Wants to give me a job.

My toes have all been broken
My fingers are all gone
Who will help me eat?
Who will hear me die?

My ears can hear the splashing
I think im standing
I buckle under the pressure
The elephant knocks me down.

I might survive the fall
I should call my wife
The only friends I have don’t like me
The work I do benifits nobody.

If I get over this mountain
I should call a taxi
The sky is white and the moon black
Take me home too late.
