When a storm rolls in crashing waves against the shore, it may bring thunder, lightning, wind, or rain, but it has no intentions of being good or bad; just releasing what's found within. Writers have the same effect with the words stored inside and sometimes it's just a matter of letting the thoughts rolling around in thier minds, storm out of them.
