There's always hope after a dark stormy situation.
We may weep in the dark
Our face full of glimmering tears
Our eyes and heart may bear a mark
Of sorrow, agony, shame, and fears.

The moon may bring a dark empty night
And dread may creep to a heart alone.
But with the morning comes a light
For the sunrise heralds a beautiful dawn.
