It talks about how we turn away from those we dont know anything about. Quite dark.
In the timeless space of the void,
Who knows what we could find?
Man would the darkness avoid
Than inflict anguish to the mind.

But who knows what pain the darkness brings
That we could not stand it?
What pain could there be in unseen things
That among the shadows sit?

We who would turn away
From the unknown because of unease
Would never know what it feels like to stay,
And the mind on that matter will have no peace.
