Soldiers

This folder has been created as a place to post stories revolving around the ficitonal universe I've created, set some two hundred odd years into our future. I'll add to it over time, mostly in the form of short stories, but will on occasion post a longer story as I write them. There is also the Library folder which contains information on the universe, written from an Alliance database' perspective. This is an ongoing project and I hope ti eventually publish several full length novels detailing the univers, but until then, please enjoy. Earth, now known as Terra, is one of three homeworlds comprising the Alliance; a political entity which heads a larger faction known as the Confederation.

The United Fleet -- often considered to be the fourth and unofficial member of the Alliance -- is a largely indepenant military that patrols Alliance and Confederate space, engaging pirates, terrorists and outside alien civilisations. At the same time, Fleet Inteligence -- one of three sections within Fleet -- maintains watch over the civilian governments of the Alliance, ensuring the ideals set forth in its constitution and Fleet's autonomy.
