Love. Pure and Simple.
I would wait forever just to spend a moment in those arms,

To take a bouquet of kisses off that mouth and place them in a vase,

And would you wait for me my bright-eyed seraph?

When all seems lost and out of our depth,

Would you cling to thoughts of us together,

In life, in love, in death?

I am hopelessly devoted to your happiness,

Would give up my world to make you smile and laugh,

You give me courage and strength to say, "I love you",

And I mean it more with each moment I let pass.

So I will keep waiting here for you,

In this field of unfulfilled joy,

Where the cold wind of change is my only comfort,

And I stand under the unforgiving sky,

It reminds me of yours eyes,

Ethereal blue with flecks of white,

Then the moon in all her splendour,

Creates another lonely night,

But I can barely feel you any more,

I bow my head in a silent prayer,

Waiting for when you are ready to love me too,

Because I know that together we would be perfect,

A match made in heaven,

Just me and you.
