I accept that my godmother's death won't hurt anymore, when I too am gone.
Your days passed by so quietly
From your life, it seems I'd withdrawn.
Now I sit, crying silently
Hoping for the coming day's dawn.
Inside I rage violently
Knowing that we are all just pawns.
I'd mourn forever, privately
But one day I too shall be gone.
