As always I write what I know
Her voice is a ghost on the phone,
Neglected, you'd think from the tone,
Though the choice is hers that she is alone,
She is spilling broken promises in the present of the future unknown,

You are a forgotten toy, a nostalgic prize,
Missed so and never really left behind, such pretty lies,
Life doesn't exsist without you, you are the sparkle in her eyes,
Don't you know selfish love never dies?

If you don't expect anything, you will never be let down,
My advice, as I pass her on to you now, Keep her happy, don't let her frown,
Try to be waterproof, because in her tears you will drown,
Keep it fresh, sweet and light, if you want her to notice when your not around....

Because when she's gone, you think of days gone by,
And the former rivers you drowned in will flow from your eyes,
You'll collect the dust and ask yourself, I am waiting, why?
Because maybe she'll keep me forever, if I get one more try.....
