This is a dissertation about the conformity and stupidity that surrounds me.

People are robots, it’s plain to see
They all dance like machinery

The automatons march all day long
All of them sing the same old song
All robots perform mindless tasks
Individual truth hidden by steel masks

They put forth their bright, flashing lights
The colors distracting with all of their might
Attempting to hide the inner machine
Concealing the calculation and silicon green

True standardization is achieved
Uniformity of what is believed
Without the latest software patch,
One is shunned because he doesn’t match

They boot up their artificial intelligence,
Knowledge to appear to be ladies and gents
They bend their eyebrows in a false expression
A side effect of sincerity simulator function

Robots don’t care that they have no say
In what goes on in the world today
They are controlled by the hive-mind,
Slaves to the conventional grind
