Poetry about war.
INNOCENT CHILDREN

The shame of a country
Why do this to them
All the innocent children
Many with missing limbs
The hatred which hides inside
Leaders of the world
Can’t you hear their cries?
You try to settle the score
With bombs and so many wars
And when it’s all over
What will you do with them?
All the innocent children
Many with missing limbs
All they want is to be normal and loved
You took that away when bombs fell from above
In the face of war it’s never a whim
Search within the eyes of innocent children
Many with missing limbs
