When nature and desire clash

boughs are bending
yielding to the wind
my body responding
warm breath on my skin

thunder cascading
rolling on by
mirrors the tremors
growing deep inside

gentle rain dripping
cooling summers blaze
kisses surround me
lost in loves gaze

streaks from above us
light up the air
surging inside us
passion aware

clash follows flash
with waiting that is raw
knowing that what follows
will arouse in us all

seeing the light play
and dance in the clouds
waiting and reaching
hoping aloud

"bring on the thunder"
"close up the tear"
"yes, I am waiting"
"its more than I can bear"

I hear the air rush
to meet with its mate
crashing together
its almost too late

My body is reeling
feeling the surge
release of the power
answering the urge

now in the distance
thunder bids "I must go"
I tremble with contentment
sighing in afterglow
