I wrote it when I saw some Ravens, fly by my window. It is now I song I sing frequently.
Glistening shadows of the morning,
You flow in the streets,
But you reap from the living,
And where does it all lead to?
Do you live for yourself?
Or do you get told to?

Perched atop a stop sign,
Watching over my street line,
Falling through all space and time,
Bordering on my sanity,
Remembering the crime,
Of my past life's difficulties,
And my state of mind.

Then I look at you,
And you look at me,
Black feathers flick,
And my soul twists,
For thee.

When you crow at the wind,
It's a sad and mellow song,
Like a melancholy dew drop,
That's carried on it's fall,
And when you fly away,
The world falls beneath you,
High above the clouds you feel peace,
Inside and Virtue.

Follow these steps,
For you are a Raven,
Crow at the wind,
Let the blood boil within you,
For you live for no one,
And no one lives for you,
You are the only one Raven,
And I wish...I were you.
