It's a rotten job, but someone has to do it!
THE DRUT PATROL.

I'm off to do the Drut Patrol
with my bucket and my spade.
Collecting little piles of stuff
that my doggie, Flo, has made.

I wish she'd learn to be more neat:
Leave them all in just one place.
It's embarrassing if I meet
Any neighbours face to face.

Can't stop to have a morning chat
with this pail here in my hand,
The contents of this bucket --- well ---
The aroma's not so grand.

"Why Drut Patrol?" I hear you ask,
Stop and think what it would say:
Spell it backwards --- you will see
What I pick up every day!
