Me describing my wife about to be angry with me...
12-31-05 8:09 pm
The look of death…Women are not (most of the time) physically imposing, not in the sense where if you met a man who was angry with you, fear and adrenaline would take you over, there is a different fear from women. When they get angry you get “the look”. I had just come home from a nasty day at work, tired as a dog, my leg was acting up and my back hurt bad, I was headed downstairs to sit in front of my computer. We are having a party tonight and the kitchen was still a bit of a mess. I noticed this as I made myself a cocktail, involving Jim Beam and Diet Coke. My drink in hand I started to head downstairs. I was at the top of the stairs and I felt something and stopped. Jen was on the counter putting glasses away (she too short to reach). I could feel her feelings at that moment. The feelings said that “I am gonna kill you if you go downstairs if you don’t help me”. I felt it so strong and could see my near future of doom enfolding in my mind. Pretty good motivation sometimes. I stopped, turned around and asked if she needed any help, she admitted that she did and then we joked about the fact that I felt her anger. I in no way believe in psychic abilities but I think it was more of knowing her and the consequences of my actions. My motivation was to avoid the “look of death” . That look that curdles milk, wilts plants and makes babies cry. A orb of death surrounds them and inflicts fear of those surrounding them. That look of "I cant kick your ass, but I can die trying".
