Thoughts on religion
God the Father, Jesus Christ, the passive-aggressive type.
With your strength in numbers,
Turn the other cheek
And in so doing, undo the foe
Many conquered nations in Your name,
Yet professed You a man of peace.

Allah, The Most Merciful, Mohammed- the more aggressive type.
Strength in numbers
Convert or die mentality for infidels,
but peaceful, wonderous rewards for True Believers.
Many conquered nations in Your name
Yet professed You too, as a man of peace.

Do You, by whatever name, ever look down?
Do You see your children murdering each other in Your name?
Does it anger You? Do You pity us? Do You care?
Do you even exist? I think not as we believe,
Rather you are one giant sadistic cat,
Toying with us crazed half-dead mice.
