love, heartbreak
The pounding of my heart persists
Oh how did life come to this
With every word my voice does quiver
With every breath my soul feels dimmer
But the light still wants to shine

I am trapped as the world goes round
Even in my tears my sorrow does not drown
Oh heavenly Angels set me free
Oh tell me how can it be
That my one true love has forsaken me
