A plea for love, short poem.
I'm so afraid of you,
Afraid of all that you'll do to me,
Afraid of how you make me feel inside.

I don't want to feel this way,
So scared to open my eyes,
So scared that you won't be there.

My hearts aches at the thought of you,
It aches at the sight of you,
I cannot help but feel this way.

I'm sick at the thought you'll love another,
At the thought you want someone else,
I cry because I love you so much.

These things you have said,
All that you have promised,
Excite me to think that just maybe......

Maybe you will be mine,
Maybe you'll be forever by my side,
That maybe this pain I feel is all so real.

Please, I'm begging of you,
Don't walk away from me,
Stay by my side.

As long as your with me,
I'll make it all worthwhile.
I love you..
