To my mother, Leota, and To the Year of 1953
Life was so young and tender then,
everything was in bloom.
often in your mind you
thought, that young man, he's hot!
and then a passionate romance took off.

Coming into the age of things
looking at the beauty of it all
at all the could's, maybe we should,
really I think he would,
kind of a whirl wind, twirling deep down inside.

Striking you both, oh so blind,
counting on dreams and
hopeful schemes, and then the very next thing
a family was formed,
under the spell of passion, the two became three,
beyond all sense of reality, they then, got me, all in 1953.
