"Open it!" "I'm trying to get the wrapper off..."

"Open it!"

"I'm trying to get the wrapper off. Why do they have to package these things this way? You'd think they were trying to preserve it for the millenia to come."

"You want my knife?"

"No I don't want to hurt it...There I got it started."

"It's so small. Do you think it will work?"

"I hope so, we really need it."

I stood in the bathroom with our new silver bullet in hand. It was small, but the box said it had a good motor and titanium heads. We needed a lot of power. We were excited to try out our new toy. We'd do it together this first time. There were multiple attachments in the box, but we didn't bother to read the directions. We knew the one we wanted was cone shaped and not the curved one.

I turned it over and over in my hand. It had a nice weight to it. I put the battery in and turned it on. Yes, this baby had power, maybe a little too much power. I showed her the magic bullet as it vibrated against the palm of my hand. She said, "You do it first" with a look of apprehension on her face.

I wasn't so sure about this now myself, but we may as well give it a shot, we bought the thing after all.

Leaning across the counter, I spread my legs to stabilize my base. I didn't want to loose my balace. I moved in towards the mirror with the silver bullet in hand; I lifted it and then backed away.

"I don't know about this. What if it rips or tears something?"

"I'm not doing it first."

"Alright, here goes," I said gathering my courage and leaning in one more time. I pulled my upper lip down so the hole was fully exposed and moved the silver bullet slowly into the cavity. I didn't feel any pain and the vibrations didn't even tickle, but I could hear the blades removing that unwanted nose hair! I would recommend the silver bullet over scissors any day.
