Be aware...For ladies, but men too.
Caution: Red Flag

Young people of this world, things have got to be said.
For the fellas take note, and for my girls get a clue.
To help you better understand, I’ve got a short story for you.
I was on a date with this guy, and he was getting kind of fresh.
I was flattered. I was blushing. It was okay I guess.
He said,
“I see you around school all the time. You’re always looking so nice.
It’s been a while since I first noticed you. But, you’re mine now and I
         feel so close to you.”
He kept talking. He moved in closer.
I blocked him out because I got a notion.
Then it hit me, this guy is kind of creepy.
He says he loves me and that he needs me.
That would be cool, if I didn’t just meet him two days ago at school.
I graciously ended the date, and when I got home I thought.
Something about him was wrong; it was time to cut communication off.
Ladies I’m saying,
Don’t go for the ones that fall too quick.
Because when it’s time to leave him he’ll say,
         “My life is over with!”
Next thing you know you’re in a sticky situation.
He got your hands tied behind your back in a dark corner of his basement.
I’ve never experienced it, but it happens quite often.
You never know what kind of mess you can get caught in.
Don’t underestimate people and their abilities.
Because when you do, you’ll be on the 9 o’clock news,
and everyone will be looking for you.
I know it’s cruel, but it’s true.
Just be aware, protect yourself.
When you get a “Caution: Red Flag,” you better be glad.
Don’t ignore it. Move quick.
In the end you’ll be alive because of it.
