whats behind his eyes
She's held to tightly, afraid to loose control. Smothered him in her illness. The one thing thats captivated her. He's so numb from the constant mind-numbing experiences, the shell shock of always being there to witness the self destruction. Never noticing his. He fears it'll never end. To find his confidence again is to break the spell. Release the chains, spread his wings

Turning about smartly, to face you. There's still something inside.

His eyes, welling up with the fear, the tension, the hatred. During the ride of his life with her. Something inside matured and something died.
The graffiti around the edges, masquerade of wills, a vendetta against her. Dust falls, amongst the wet tears, staining the woodwork of his defined face, the flesh rotted, red from days of weeping.

He runs, shuts the door. Screams, her words were never true, yet they still hurt deep inside. No more lies, he calls. No more lies. Faint from days of starvation, a last ditch punishment, disregarding the fact that every body will be able to see the scars. A blade catches the dim light as it whisks across his skin. Turning his back, he can't feel like this anymore. He just wants to be ignored, but she persists, driving him forward, weakened he stumbles.

One step closer and he's about to break.
