Everyones idea of a hero is different. This is simply about My hero.
Some heroes are born,
Others are formed.
Through life’s little trails,
We reveal what we are.

A doctor, a fireman,
A policeman for sure,
All of these can be heroes,
Yes, all these and more.

My Father’s my hero,
He’s brave and he’s strong.
And when he has died,
His deeds will live on.

He never complained,
To do what he must.
He has always been there,
With love and with trust.

He did unto others,
When no one else would.
He gave his last dollar,
When ever he could.

His love for my mother,
Made us secure.
His faith in his children,
Has made us strong and sure.

No matter your system,
Of telling who’s true.
My Father’s example,
May have even reached you.
