CHAPTER THREE...BOYS AREN'T SNAKES

While Missy is being forced to play a cruel game of animal dress-up, Brandon and the remainder of friends are having torture sessions of their own. One of the assailants came back to the room and removed Brandon from the others. His head had been covered up, once again, with the dark hood. Now he too has his own quiet and private room.

The lights are shut off and his hood is removed. Everything surrounding him is covered in a sea of black. His breathing is rapid and grows faster when he hears the sound of something slithering in the darkness before him. Could it be? He prayed to God that the thing in the darkness wasn't what he feared most: snakes.
One of the lights comes to life. It is a dim flourescent and its glow is fuzzy. Out of the darkness a leggy brunette appears. Her hair hangs down past her shoulders; her eyes are dark and mysterious; she too has removed all of her disguise, figuring that she'd be the last Brandon would ever see.

The gag is removed from his mouth but his hands remain bound.
"Are you having fun, sugar?" Asks the brunette, stooping before him and allowing the skirt she is wearing to rise up above the thigh. Brandon is silent. He's worried about the slithering and now beads of sweat are trailing is brow and down his chest as well. "I know I am. I'm Jen." The intro was quick and she rose silently to her feet once more and moved back into the darkness.

"Why are you doing this to us? Who are you?" Brandon manages to speak. His voice is hoarse and the exhaustion shows. Miss Jen laughs. She gives no answer to his question.

"You know," she continues, as if he never spoke up. "one of my friends says that boys are snakes."

Brandon is now beyond the boundaries of nervous and his anxiety is sky-rocketing. He can feel his veins start to freeze up with fear. When Jen moves back into the light, he sees the surprise she holds in her hands. It is his worst nightmare.
The long black snake is coiled around Jen's right arm. Her left hand is holding it about the neck region. She stoops before him once more and allows the snake to slither close to his sweaty face.

"No. No, no, no. Take it away." Jen laughs as Brandon fumbles.

"Anyway," Once again ignoring any actions and words from his mouth and body.
"I tend to disagree with my friend. No, boys aren't snakes; they're the rats that get eaten by the snakes!"

Brandon tries to back away from the snake, his legs kicking frantically. Jen tosses the serpent into his lap, laughing as he screams and thrashes about. He has had a fear of snakes since early childhood but the reason is still a mystery to even him. His legs cooperate and Brandon makes it to his knees and somehow wriggles free of the snake. Tears are trailing down his cheeks and his breath is coming out in hitches. The only one to ever see him cry from something such as this is Missy. Oh, God, what he wouldn't give to have her here now; to comfort him; to tell him everything is fine and that it won't bite.

"Yeah, I thought you might be lonely so I brought you a few friends."

Friends? That's plural and means more than one. Brandon couldn't handle one let alone any friends that it might have. He scoots his way into a corner and then uses the wall to inch his way up. Jen continued to bring in more snakes. A small clinking sound catches Brandon's attention. It was his necklace. The silver chain that carried his ring has fallen to the darkness below. It must've caught against the wall and broke loose. His promise to Missy to love her, honor her, and to protect her, is now gone.

The hissing and slithering of snakes fills the room. Jen is laughing and relishing Brandon's fear of them. The door on the other side opens. A tall blond enters the room.

"Hey, sister, need some help?" says the blond to Jen, who glares back at her.

"What about the bitch you took away earlier? Are you done playing with her already?"

The blond laughs. "Oh, that one. We played dress up and I smacked her around a bit for making nasty bunny messes and when that got old, I decided it was time to set the bunny out to play. I'm sure the dogs will play nice."

Jen's smile widens and Brandon's heart sinks deeper into his body. Something terrible has happend to his love.
"Sorry boy, but I have some other fellas to take care of now. I'll be back to check up on you but until then, enjoy your new roommates."

Jen and the blond leave together, closing the door and leaving Brandon in utter silence, save the snakes, whose slithering was enough to keep him company.
