My romantic mind imagining something from nothing. Or was it...
What was it in that lovely glance,
That made my heart turn over?
Something about your sudden smile
Made me sure we’d love each other.

I don’t know who you are,
Or the person you’ll become.
But there’s a reason I believe,
That you and me belong.

I’ve always dreamed of love at first sight,
Do you feel the same?
Would you walk through mountains
To take away my pain?

Cos I know I’m just a stranger,
With stardust in my eyes,
But you’ve got my soul in shivers,
And I can’t believe the lies,

That love is just a myth,
And nothing real exists,
When that serious face I saw then,
Has my stomach doing twists.

I know my mind can trick me
And I’ve been through this before.
But it doesn’t stop me hoping
That your love’s what life is for.

That when you kiss me I’ll be happy
And I’ll feel like I belong.
We’ll spend some magic time together,
In the lyrics of a love song.

So I guess all that I’m asking,
Is that you give butterflies a chance
And believe me when I tell you,
I saw true love in that glance.
