A personal reflection on the proclaimed Mahatma.
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi

“The human voice can never reach the distance that is covered by the still small voice of conscience.”

The Mahatma was dedicated, humble and non-violent; he was very selfless. Most days, I eat lunch in Jamie’s math room. I sit on the floor and meditate; I also think about how I was born in Calcutta, a place in India where there is little opportunity for the children. This reminds me of how much I have. It makes me wonder if I’m starting to take my chances for granted. I have learned that one person can make a difference. Gandhi has inspired me to help the kids of Calcutta, something I’ve wanted to do for a while.
