About hopeless the pain of unrequited hopeless love.
You dashed my heart upon the cliffs
Of misleading hope and lost illusions.
I've been broken and shattered,
And I'm missing most of my pieces -

I would die ten thousand times
Just to see you sweetest smile,
Yet you cast it all away
Like a child's broken toy.

There is nothing I wouldn't do
To make your day just a little better,
But you start pretending that you're strong
Just so I'll go away.

Don't worry, you'll have you wish-
I'll be going far, far away.
I'll count the paces in miles and years,
But, if you ever need me again, I swear it,

I'll be by your side once more.
