Self discovery- of the talents a person can not see from the outside.
Hidden Talents

My desire to lend my hand is burnt upon my soul.
What a gift to be given, to desire to uplift others, thank you God!

I do not desire wealth I'm richer than most, You are too!

As long as we do not compare ourselves-
To the sold out, to the shallow & hollow
with much too much.

Do they lend a hand, without thought of selfish gain?

To live, to give,
These are gifts given freely from above,

I open my heart extremely wide- I get it all the time,
"Someone's gunna hurt you girl all exposed,
Your not in Kansas anymore."

I smile like "yep your right I just might,'
but the rebel in me thinks a different way.

They can take what possessions Ive got-
They don't mean a thing. When I leave this place
I go with memories and deeds, that is enough for me

My gifts have always been hidden and
hard to recognize.

I meet strangers...I draw you in unaware each time
I don't know how or why but soon you confide
deepest, darkest secrets that normally you hide.

I'm a confidant  and counselor without a degree.
I'm the one that will look you straight in the eye

I'll tell you what you afraid to hear
In a loving way- I will always answer you with truth.

Come on...and I'll lend you a hand!
