Tristeza Mirlo daydreams often. Will she ever be whisked away to her fantasyland?
[Introduction]
The main character is Tristeza, and sidecharacters include the one who tells Tristeza her daydreams are real, someone to help Tristeza in her adventure, and someone to be an evil villian. There are also people who need Tristeza's help with something; a villager, for example. These are the characters needed, and I don't mind who makes them and their names up, as long as we don't have too many characters here! Oh, and if Tristeza has two friends, can one of them please be a talking animal? Such as a bird? That'd be more convienent and less confusing. As to introducing them, you can do it however you like, just not something lame such as, "And suddenly Chihiro comes up to Tristeza and says, 'I'm going to be your friend who will help you on your quest!' 'Okay,' Tristeza replied." Avoid that, please! Make it so it takes a while for the character to develope! And one more thing; if Tristeza or her friends have just met a character, don't make them immediately become close friends so that if that character dies it's something like, "A boy walked up to Tristeza. 'Hi, my name's Jojo," he said. Suddenly, Jojo fell to the ground and was silent. 'Oh no! Jojo died!' Tristeza cried, and sobbed until she could sob no more." Save that for when a major character dies, like this; "Tristeza walked around the market with her friend Caroline, whom she had had as a friend since she started her quest. Suddenly, Caroline blacked out. Tristeza stared in horror as a body fell limply to the ground. She cried until she could cry no more." See the difference? Of course, it helps if you've read the story. So enough rules! Write! And all characters I used in my quotes are examples, except Tristeza, the main character. And they don't have to be all girls. That was just something random. I'd like to have one boy and one girl, or two boys and two girls, you know what I mean?
