A Wondering Tale pt.2
By geohound1

“And that is how I killed off my entire family with a pick axe and shovel.”

“Mister that turns me on so bad.”

Oh that’s a good one, it turns her…. Wait what! “What did you just say”

“I said you’re a disturbed person.”

I stared at her with a blank and mostly confused look, then looked at all the odd faces at all the other people around the room, they must of liked my story about my family.

“Excuse me mister.” The short girl I’ve been sitting with for the past, 2 long boring hours said. “You wouldn’t by chance be a mercenary would you?”

About damn time this little whore had something worth while to say. “Yes I am little miss… why do you ask.” Big freaking mistake there.

“Oh… you are!”

She went into another big hour long ramble about how she needed a bodyguard to go see her half uncle… how is anybody your half uncle you got me… but then again I killed off my entire family at the age of 6. So I said I would take the job. Yet another big mistake in my life, I should really start counting them.

“Oh thank you mister I’ll reward you when we get to my uncles’ in Veltri.”

So she got up, ramble off some more thanks and finally went to her room to take a rest, I still had to go get my refund for this crappy boat, so no rest for me.

I followed the two deckhands with the safes in to one of the backrooms, which was surprisingly hidden in the back, you could kill some one in there and get away with out any one knowing, and either that or I’m just that damn good. “Hello boys how about a refund.” I say.

One of them looked up at me as he was shoveling the gold coin money out of the little safe and into the bigger safe and said. “Sorry sir no refunds allowed.”

“Oh, but I think you should give me one.” I say at I pull my long sword out of its sheath.

“Shit, he’s got a blade!” Blurts the little money shoveling whore.

I swing my sword aiming for between his wrist and elbow, but the little whore tries to block with his shovel. And so I wind up missing and taking off all of his fingers but his thumb on his right hand, why is it the thumb I always miss the thumb. The little money shoveling whore drops the shovel and screams out in pain, the little pussy I would of kept on fighting. I try to hit him to shut him up with the up swing but miss YET AGAIN when he curls over and falls to the ground. But I managed somehow to slice off the head of the other money shoveling whore coming out of the larger safe to see what was going on. The body of the second money shoveling whore falls to the ground like a rag doll spewing blood everywhere, and the head somehow finds its way to the first money shoveling whores lap. The first money shoveling whore screams out, “You killed my gay lover Victor you cock smuggling thunder cunt I hope you rot in hell!”

“Shut your gay ass up somebody’s gonna hear you!” I say just before I shove my sword down through the top of his head tearing through his neck and into his chest. Stop trying to shove the sword into the little whore and stop to admire my work, that’s when it hit me. I should get out of here before any more people wanna take my refund. So pulled my sword out of his head, cleaned the blood off of it with glove I found on the floor, and then picked up all the “refund” that was not blood stained out of the safes. And that was about the time I hauled ass up to my room with my newly acquired large bag of money for a bit of a rest.

I’m running, running through this waterway with all my will and might. Running through ankle deep water, I see a distant light at the end of the tunnel, my escape. The guards are closing in on me, occasionally a loud bang would echo through the tunnel and a tiny lead ball would wiz by my head and ricochet of a wall and into the water. Curse these fools using forbidden technology against the world. It destroyed the ancient people of this world, it’s forbidden for a reason. The light is getting closer. Still running, my legs hurt, my back hurts, I have the taste of cold metal in my mouth. I’m starting to feel sluggish, like I’m five to six weeks pregnant or something like that.
I just glance in time to my right to see a guard come out of a door and fire his little piece of technology at me. The little lead ball flies out of the chamber, misses the back of my head, ricochets off the wall and ricochets off a red warning sign. The ball flies under my nose and punches its way through the stunned guard’s skull killing him instantly.
I at the end of the tunnel, I peer out into the warm sunlight… and then I look down…..a waterfall, I’m on top of a waterfall. Twenty stories up from the jungle river I look to my left and see a door. I open it to reveal a guard with the same confused look on his face that I have. I look at him, he looks at me, I look at him, he looks at me. “SHIT!” I blurt as I slam the door in his face. I look at the way I came and can see the armed guards just 150 feet away.
“Screw this.” I mumble to my self as I leap out over the water fall. Just before I hit the water I hear a guard yell out. “Would all passengers please come to the main dinning hall.”

I awake back in my room on the ferry and sit up in a hurry and slam my head up into the hilt of my sword. That is stuck up into the bunk bed above me. I held my forehead and rolled off the bed in pain. “Would all passengers please come to the main dinning hall.” The loud speaker in the hall outside my room blared. I got up, and grabbed my backpack off the floor, and pulled my sword out from under the top bunk bed and its occupant. “Maybe next time you’ll let me have the top bunk, see yah buddy.”
After waving good bye to the guy on the top bunk and rubbing my sore head. I proceeded out the door and down the hall that leaves to the main dinning hall.
