A further example of my teenage juvenilia, cloying, but not without some charm.
There is a laughter in your speech
That stays when in others fled
I can't learn or you can’t teach
That laughter sports beyond my reach
Preferring your lips instead

But though that laughter is not mine
I taste it on those moments rare
When I can upon those raptures dine
Which linger on your lips divine
When my own are guided there
