People wear masks and no one ever notices.
She’s been called different,
A girl with her own style.
A hyper active teenager,
Holding a 5 year olds smile.
People watch and laugh,
But she could not care at all.
She’s learned to be high among them,
So they’ll never see her fall.
Her feelings are written in her eyes,
So no one questions what lies behind
with the sparkle gone, edge taken away.
You may see what lies inside her mind.
No one knows that it’s an act.
That she made the perfect mask.
One that changes at her will,
That performs each and every task.
No one will know,
Cause no one can see,
That she’s not her,
And I’m not me.
