its a poem.
The Sun Will Rise.

the sun will rise
but has to hide.
behind gray skies
what is left inside
of open eyes?
the window
opened
broken
shattered
the heart so cold
the solid ice
stopped still

no warm passion
temporal attraction
or divine distraction
will be enough
to
smooth the rough
or
soften the tough.
stopped still
solid ice

if it would suffice
to melt the ice
would the
cold
water
thru
my
veins
attack!
my brain?

take my advice
don’t step out on the ice
spread thin and afraid
counting the days
when will it break?
and
how long will it take?

watching
beneth the surface
wishing
with no purpose
a crack
a hole
my body disrupts
the placid
water
there is no life underneath
my heart erupts
when I finally give up
the sword back in my sheath
and die with no grief
fight
struggle
hurt
no more
it was a pass or fail grade
i needed a rest
i couldnt pass the test
my words will fade
become ramblings
scribbles and rhymes
nothing but
dates and times
lost on a calander

but today
i hide
behind
my broken window
reading my
fictional autobiography
“i could not grow old
water so cold”
men will sigh
women cry
preachers will lie
HE HAS LEFT
FOR A BETTER PLACE
Tears will dry

it is easy
to try
but
difficult
to hide
behind a
broken window
and
shattered glass

clouds amass
the sun will rise
but
must hide
behind gray skies.
