Just a random poem I wrote while thinking of someone I haven't seen in a long time.
Moving On

In brief time, I must flee.
The setting suns my road.
If not for your love of me,
In vain I carry this load.
From the start we saw its end,
Despite the time we stowed.
And for that love
I thank above,
For what no one could have known.
The endless sky,
I wonder why, but know we’ll never go.
